Our fees are the Italian Real Estate standard
Our fees are 3% of the final purchase price plus IVA (VAT) payable by the vendors and purchasers. The total fees payable by the purchaser (you) including all taxes/stamp duties, our fees and the Notaio (Public Notary) should be as a rule of thumb no more than 10% of the final purchase price of the Italian real estate for sale.
Normally the preliminary contract (Compromesso) will be concluded with a deposit of between 10% to 30% of the final purchase price. At this point 50% of our total fees are payable. If you withdraw from the transaction prior to completion you will lose your deposit. If the vendor withdraws you will receive double your deposit back. On completion the balance of the purchase is paid as well as all taxes/stamp duties, the remaining 50% of our fees and the Notary's fees. At this point you will receive the keys and your dream Italian property is finally yours!
As part of our service we help to ease you through the bureaucracy of setting up utilities contracts etc. We can also help you to organize haulage if you are bringing furniture to your new Italian abode. You can even decide to retain us if you require further or ongoing services; take a look at our Property Management page.
If you have a query about our fees or you find yourself in a situation and would like free impartial advice from a professional Italian estate agent, just call or email us.
