How to book a luxury Italian villa for rent

Once you have chosen your Abode holiday villa rental, you can phone us, send us a fax or an e-mail. If the property requested is available we will place a provisional booking for you and we will send you the Booking Form by fax or e-mail together with a pro forma invoice. After receiving the completed and signed Booking Form, we need to receive the deposit payment within 2 days, in order to confirm the booking.

Booking confirmation and cancellation fees.

The balance payment is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. Failure to make this payment will be treated as a cancellation and we will be entitled to apply the cancellation charges as follows:

Cancellation received 8 weeks or more prior to the arrival date- charge of the 30% (deposit already paid to confirm the booking).

Cancellation received less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date: charge of 100% of the total due.

Once the booking procedure has been completed we will send you the driving direction of how to get to the property.

Letting period

Clients are expected to arrive at the property between 4:00pm and 7:00pm on the first day of the rental period. If a different arrival time is anticipated, notification must be received in writing at Abode’s office well in advance or the owner/caretaker may not be available to permit entry. If an unforeseen delay should occur, every effort should be made to contact the owner/caretaker at the telephone number provided. Arrivals after 7:00pm may be subjected to a surcharge of €20 for each hour of delay. Access cannot be guaranteed after 10:30pm.

Upon arrival, clients should inspect the property with the owner/caretaker and ensure that they fully understand the use of any appliances, equipment and utilities. Units on the telephone counter will also be checked in order to determine usage during the rental period as telephone charges are calculated on a per unit basis.

Clients are expected to vacate the property at 10:00am on the final day of the rental period. The owner/caretaker will arrive at the villa at 9:00am for an inspection of the property. Should departure prior to 10:00am be necessary, clients are requested to notify the owner/caretaker at the beginning of the rental period in order to arrange an alternative time for the property final inspection.
